THE CORE OF IT: One of the things I love about photography is the ability to preserve a moment in time with a person, place, or experience. It’s like a time portal that gives you a glimpse into the past and allows you to relieve moments and emotions all over again. After my grandfather passed away, my grandmother gave me a photo of my grandfather when he was younger. He was smoking a cigar propped up against a car with a trench coat on - it’s one of my favorite photos and gave me a glimpse into his younger life and personality. I believe this photo really inspired my passion for photography and desire to share the joy that my photographs bring me with others.
A BIT ABOUT ME: I live in New York City and feel extra grateful to call this city home. Growing up, I had a MAJOR dream of living and working in the city one day. Fast forward to college, I got my Masters in Accounting, geared all my recruiting to New York, and accepted a job offer in Manhattan (literally the dream come true). I have lived in the city for six years with my husband (Jack) our best friends, and of course, my dog Buco who I adore more than anything in the world. A fun fact for those who know the New York City restaurant scene - Buco is named after Il Buco, Jack and I went there night we got engaged. You can find me on long Central Park walks with Jack and Buco, cozy at home enjoying a glass of wine on the roof, or trying a new restaurant for date night in the City.
A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS: I grew up in Tampa, Florida and am a frequent visitor to the sunshine state - I love spending quality time with my family, three nieces (who I adore), and friends. To no surprise growing up in Florida, the beach is my happy place and I love the sunshine. Prioritizing mental and physical wellbeing is very important to me - I am a frequent soulcycle rider and enjoy doing pilates. I love to travel, play piano, and to horseback ride (core memory is horseback riding in Hawaii with my husband).
